Groovy: Type Design
It is a display font that can be used for headlines. The difference between the heights of the letters is attention-grabbing. The font is legible in a relatively larger size. The personality of the type is fun and informal.

After determining the design characteristics, such as serif or sans-serif, weight, width, and other stylistic choices I started understanding letterforms and attempting to craft individual letters and numbers by creating different variations for each character to explore design possibilities.

I then created vector outlines for each character based on the sketches. I paid attention to consistency in stroke width, character spacing, and overall harmony. After the outlines were made, I worked on kerning to ensure visually tied.
